Searching for recipes and learning to cook has become so much easier since the introduction of the web. Great recipes can now be found easily with very little effort or time. Most of these recipes will come up showing star ratings leading the experimenter to believe that four to five stars should produce good results. Unfortunately these star ratings are misleading. There are times you make the recipe and find it tasted bland or certainly not what you expected. Then you read some of the comments and find that this one changed "this" and that one changed "that" but still gave it a high rating. Unfortunately for you the real recipe was never rated. These people rated their own personal recipe not the one your trying to follow. It is their creation, not the one listed. I find that ratings such as these are not worth my time or energy because most times the recipe was made with numerous changes and variations.
I decided to start this Blog so that comments can be made on the published recipe without any changes. I will not publish changes made in a recipe. I will only accept and publish comments on the actual recipe listed. Of course you can comment on your personal thoughts such as it needs more salt, pepper whatever as long as you followed the original recipe. If one wishes to adjust the recipe, then submit it as a new recipe. There is nothing wrong with having a few dozen ways of making a meat loaf as long it comes with a few dozen recipes, not a list of changes in the comment section. In this blog if you see four to five stars you can, with confidence, know that the recipe will do well. So please, submit your recipes and let's all have fun with this and at the same time please our palates. Let's cook and rate each other honestly without making changes.
